Revitalize and re-activate retail zones with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and small business. Establish a comprehensive and sustainable economic development plan that benefits the taxpayers by growing our tax revenue and reducing property taxes for residents. Hire an economic development director with the experience to implement a long term plan that attracts new businesses and maximizes the towns existing infrastructure without destroying neighborhoods.
Dignity for our Seniors
Expand supportive services for our aging population while protecting their quality of life, economic and physical security. Create programs that allow our seniors on fixed incomes to live with dignity by working to lower property taxes and utility costs.
World Class Education
Support a high-quality school system that provides a world class education. Fund a just, vibrant school system, reinvigorate public education throughout Bloomfield and ensure that every child – regardless of the household they live in – can go to a school that is safe, supportive, well-funded, and ready to meet their needs.
Environmental & Social Justice
Sustainability and stewardship; providing a flourishing community for all: reducing blight, providing affordable housing options for low income families, enhancing walkability and traffic calming initiatives, modernizing and rebuilding our library system, upgrading and maintaining our parks and other public amenities.
